This Privacy Policy describes how Promptune ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our Chrome Extension and Services.
We do not collect or store your prompts. When you highlight text or use the Promptune extension to rewrite a sentence, the text is securely transmitted directly to our AI providers (like Groq) via our proxy server solely for the purpose of completing your requested rewrite. Once the AI returns the rewritten text, it is delivered back to your browser. We do not save, log, read, or sell the contents of your prompts.
If you log in via Google OAuth to track your 20 free daily rewrites, we collect only your public profile (Email, Name) provided by Google. This is exclusively used to uniquely identify your account for rate-limiting purposes to prevent network abuse.
We absolutely do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your rewritten text data is handled as a transient payload and is never utilized by our AI partners for model training.
